At Bethany Lutheran Church, we are a welcoming fellowship of Lutheran Christians, deeply rooted in faith and community. As part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LC-MS), we belong to a Biblically conservative church body that is proud to publicly share and confess our beliefs. Our faith is anchored in the teachings of the three historic Christian creeds: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. Each one expresses the timeless truths of the Christian faith that we hold dear.
We call ourselves “Lutheran” because we follow the Bible-centered teachings of Martin Luther, a key figure in the Reformation of the 16th century. God used Luther to bring back to the church the joyful message that, in Jesus Christ, God is full of love and mercy. Forgiveness and eternal life are gifts that God offers to everyone through faith in Jesus. The Reformation was a time of revival, returning the church to its Biblical foundation. The teachings of the Reformation were collected in the Book of Concord of 1580, a treasured confession of faith that continues to guide us today.
At Bethany Lutheran Church, we invite you to join us as we live out these teachings and grow together in faith, love, and service.
